Thank you, Joseph, for this great info!
Both, my wife and myself, have Citi Premier cards. We don’t want to keep both of them and to pay two annual fees.
I have two related questions. If I downgrade my Premier card to the new Citi Custome cash card, will I preserve my Thankyou points?
And secondly, will I be able to transfer them to my wife’s account and then transfer them to a partner airline?

When are cards going to give credit for electric vehicle charging? Even the U.S. Bank Business Edge Select considers only a few of the charging companies as worthy of its travel discount.
I’m starting to view the offerings for gasoline discounts as encouragement to backwards thinking, as well as to contributing to ongoing and accellerating atmospheric destruction. Cars are changing, cities are changing, airlines are changing – when will the cards catch up? Do you folks have any inside information or insights? Thanks!

Hmm, not bad. And if my husband and I BOTH get cards, we could EACH get the business class seats, if we could snag them…Also could target 2 different spend categories, one on his card and one on mine, which might make it a little easier to max out earning potential. Now if only we weren’t trying to stay below 5/24….
