IHG is one of the most recognizable hotel chains, with household hotel brands like Holiday Inn and Candlewood Suites. And while it’s got its fair share of five-star hotels, it’s not exactly the luxury traveler’s loyalty program of choice.

No matter what your travel style, IHG can play a critical part in your free-hotel strategy. So we mapped-out every IHG hotel in the world, along with their award prices, to help you plan your travels.

One massive caveat is that there’s no publicly available IHG award chart. The hotel chain practices “dynamic” pricing, which means they may charge more depending on the season, availability, and side of the bed their CEO woke up on. Still, there are unspoken “categories” for each hotel, in that they all have a minimum price. That’s what this chart illustrates — the cheapest prices for each hotel. You’ll find many dates with a more expensive price.

It’s simple, and should be accurate down to the exact location.

The key is on the left, and when you click on a category, you can highlight all the hotels in that category. But if you uncheck the box, the hotel no longer shows up. So you can choose to view only category 1 hotels, for example.

Hotel category Points per night

Read our post on how to earn IHG points to learn how easy it can be to stay at these hotels for free. And remember that the IHG® Rewards Premier Credit Card is an absolute must if you’re trying to stretch your points further — it offers a fourth reward night when redeeming points for any stay of three or more nights (in other words, 25% fewer points when booking four consecutive award nights).

We’re going through the “Completes Maps” series and this page is up next. Check out the updated Marriott map or the Hyatt map, or any of the Travel is Free articles that have been updated in our resources hub.
