Carry the decimal over 2 spots. There are 100 pennies in $1 and the calculations are dividing dollars.

0.0061 dollars is the same as 0.61 cents.

In each example on this site for Hilton Honors points, when I do the math, it comes up far different than your figures. For instance, in the last example in the above article: $580 / 95,000 points. You say that equals .61 cents per point when the answer is 0.0061 cents. Far less than .61 cents. Am I missing something?
